The July 13 fundraiser at Pizza Warehouse featured a pizza buffet and program by Linda Palmer, whose artwork showcases magnificient "champion" trees of Arkansas.

Located at 4900 Rogers Avenue, Pizza Warehouse is the largest locally owned restaurant in the area and features a mobile buffet, widescreen televisions, an arcade and more.
Sandy Sanders talks about the lasting contributions of Polly Crews as attendees look on at the last fundraiser at the Art Center's long-time location, the Vaughn-Schapp House.
President of the Board Marta Jones also spoke about the future of the museum and the many changes ahead. Guests enjoyed a buffet-style dinner, bid on items at the silent auction and then walked over to the Fort Smith Little Theatre to see a production of "Crowns," a play by Regina Taylor, directed by Carole Rogers.
Guests enjoyed the more casual atmosphere and reminisced about all the good times at the Vaughn-Schaap House. Many signed the frame of Beverly Kiefer's "portrait" of the house, a lovely memento painted by a long-time Art Center supporter. The piece will be included in the permanent collection at the new museum.
Thanks to artists whose work was included in the silent auction, board members, and attendees alike that made this fun, stress-free farewell event possible.
